Mini bio

I am Philip Webster and was born in London and am now living in Dorset.

I have worked all my working life in Broadcast Television and Radio, firstly with the BBC TV and Radio then moving to TVS at Southampton (which became Meridian in 1993) and finally at Channel 4.

I enjoy all aspects of broadcast media production and have been involved in most aspects of it from television and radio outside broadcasts, research, editing and presenting.

My interests have always been in radio production. I enjoy covering local or national issues and events, talking to people and getting to know them, what they do and what makes them tick. I enjoy music of all genres but I am not a DJ- you’ll hear me mostly talking to many people on the radio about a variety of subjects from lighthearted to serious. I hope you find my interviews for UK TalkRadio informative and interesting.
